I would just add that even though only District 2 folks can vote for their commissioner, the whole county should be concerned and involved in those kinds of allegations since that commissioner does vote on business for the whole county. Also, I think we as county citizens should contact our elected state representatives about adding and better the "residence" language for the future in case it happens again here or any other border county. :-)

This whole experience has shown us that guidelines and procedures at multiple levels need to be improved for the sake of clarity and integrity.
